The Wedding Shooters - Lynne & Gareth

Yes we're married! Yes we shoot weddings together! Yes we really enjoy it!

We've been shooting weddings together for a number of years as a husband and wife team, bringing both an artistic eye and technical edge to our photography.

Lynne is an award winning member of the Masters Photographers Association (MPA), the driving force behind Eden Digital and your main point of contact. Unlike many photographers, she works full time for the company and invests a large part of this to the unseen tasks that go on behind the scenes in terms of the computer artwork and post production editing that go to create the fabulous work we produce for our clients. As well as having a strong artistic flair, Lynne's background is in computing and has achieved a Master of Science degree in Multimedia. Using this combination of creative and highly technical skills, she also designs all storybook albums in house, authors all the DVDs and can customise & personalise to your heart's content. Lynne also creates and maintains the Eden Digital website.

Gareth is a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) but is also a full time university lecturer with a Masters degree in optoelectronics, much of his time being involved the fields of Multimedia and digital imaging. He completes the photography team for weekend and summer weddings, deals with all the highly technical details of modern digital photography and produces many of the thousands of stunning stock and product images.

When not devoting 110% of our enthusiasm, energy & skills into wedding & portrait photography, we are continually expanding our portfolio of landscape, travel & abstract art collections. A quick scan of our server shows over eighty thousand photographs stored there. We like taking photos :-)

Our Approach to Weddings

The main wedding shooter who would cover your big day is Lynne, and for summer & weekend weddings Gareth will join us to complete the team.

The best wedding photography teams are usually couples, traditionally this has often been the man as the main photographer and the woman as the assistant or backup for candid shots, but at eden digital both Lynne & Gareth have equal input for the photographs. This means you have two professional photographers to capture your day.

Not only do we aim to create breathtaking images for you we also aim to create an enjoyable, stress-free atmosphere on your wedding day.

Our photography encompasses a variety of styles & techniques to provide you with a complete & interesting wedding portfolio. We approach each wedding individually and depending on YOUR taste, we will blend the right amount of formal & candid photography together. BTW, When we say 'formal' we mean the high quality group photos every couple wants. We don't mean stiff and uncomfortable! We want to capture the personality of the group in front of the lens in a relaxed and natural way, while still providing timeless images that will look great in any album, in any decade.

We also love to get those candid shots that truly capture moments as they happen. As we normally work as a team with two photographers, there is much more opportunity in capturing those elusive moments. Journalistic images like these give brides & grooms a fascinating documentary journey through the day. More often than not couples are overwhelmed by proceedings and don't have a chance to take everything in. Our images help provide that missing element.
